I wanted 'em to win. I followed my state, Oregon winning, and Oregon State winning 3 - 0. :D

Just shows that the pac-10 is a good force. :D

I wish Penn State would have won. USC was pretty cocky today as they are everytime. Still Penn played a nice 2nd half despite the horrible rock'ed first.

The only reason Penn St. scored at all in the 2nd half is that USC played a conservative defense, allowing Penn St. to have the short game, eating up the clock and time outs.  There was no danger whatsoever of Penn St. taking charge and pulling it off, they just didn't have the offense to over power the more powerful and dominating USC defense nor was the Penn State defense strong enough to stop Sanchez and the long ball game.  Those safeties for Penn State were being beat all night, and those poor corners...sheesh, they should be embarrased how badly they were beaten by the Trojan receivers.

It's a shame McKnight aggravated his foot injury as had to be pulled out of the game, he was clearly on the way to yet another 100+ yard game and Penn State was nowhere even close to being able to stop him from doing it.

True True. Penn State had a chance to start a slow come back when they had that nice run in the first half, but he fumbled it and turned it over.

By the replies in Ack-Ack's thread, you don't watch football.   USC is just good as any BCS team, including the upcoming Nat. Championship game.   Penn State is not only in the weakest Conference in College Football, they were NEVER in the game.

You give up 24 points in a Quarter, it is like getting kicked in the nuts.   All confidence is lost.

USC plays in a horribly weak conference, and don't give me this 5-0 crap.  Only one team was really up there and that was BYU.  Anytime you have a So called all time great defense play two teams that went a combined 1-23 and a bad Standford and UCLA team to pad your stats you aren't as good as you think you are.  They way i see it USC is extraordinarily lucky to be here, if OSU didn't have injuries they would have been here, while USC and its "oh so great" defense would be pimp slapped around by Texas.

I think at the end of the day, the facts speak for themselves...Pac-10 5-0 in bowl games.

LOL!  If OSU didn't have injuries...aren't you guys tired of using the same old excuse every year?

vs. push overs except for BYU.
Miami, OkSt who really wasn't that special, pitt who plays in another armpit of a conference.  How can you be declaring victory after playing bad teams and still need i remind you that the pac10 had the 2 worst teams in the nation.  Normally that honor goes to some non bSC conference like mid american or something but to the pac ten?  Plz.  USC go stick some crow in your mouth your that that good.

The Dallas Cowboys could have beat that Penn State team.

It would have been closer, but the cowboys would have found a way to lose. Unlike USC they don't have a desire to win, and I hope they never do. The Dallas Cowboys are a mess and I hope they stay that way for a LONG LONG time.

USC is the best team in the nation. They got beat by a very good Oregon State team.

They were left out because of that. But Florida loosing to Ole miss  :huh :huh

Easy.  You don't ever, EVER lose to a team called the "Beavers".  You just don't.
