109 cowl guns
« on: January 02, 2009, 01:07:56 PM »
The 109K4 is the only 109 with a minor modeling problem. Here are two pictures with the problem.

I did the second photo while the game was still loading textures, so that area can be easy compared to the other area.It does not matter what skin you use, just to prove that, the second picture is just the 3d model of the K4. Can any of the HTC staff give any answear when is this going to be fixed? It's very anoying after you know it is there.

No problem at all with the Guns, just have a better look the area around the guns, not symmetrical. Look at the diff. I've circled the bad area with red.

It might be a "save on polygons" issue. I personally don't see any problem...then again I spend most of my time looking OUT the front of my plane than looking AT them   :D

You say that you look at the front of your plane. And this time, you don't see the problem with the k4? Take a closer look, The area around the left mg is diff. from the area around the right mg.

Klauss

If you are that concerned about a minor graphic issue shoot HTC an Email. They are not going to issue an emergency patch for such a minor issue.

The sky is not falling.

Bronk, i know the sky is not falling, i know that i don't see that area to much anyway, i know it's almoust not noticeable. I just don't like it, i won't send htc an e-mail, i am not saying that an emergency patch should be released. What do they do exactly with the bugs reported? Just curious....

Ok, thank you. Thought they aren't taking imediate action, as i never saw a post from one of the HTC members saying what will be fixed and what will not. Hope that in the next few patches this small issue will be also fixed.
