it pales in comparison to govt policy that endorses firing rockets into civilian areas and recruiting people to strap on bombs to walk into crowded markets.
looking at the massive numbers of civilian casualties during the July War and now the current invasion of Gaza either:
1. The IDF is very inept (unlikely given they are one of the best trained, funded and equipped forces in the world)
or
2. They dont make much distinction between civilians and combatants.
hard for Israel to claim moral superiority on this one im afraid.
Rich I understand that there are
some religious nutjobs who want Israel wiped out, but unfortunately there are indoctrinated idiots everywhere. Even on this board, there are some psychopaths who advocate the mass murder of 10s of millions of people ("turn the middle east to glass") The majority of the Palestinians just want basic freedoms and autonomy in their own territory which Israel currently denies them. Even Hamas didnt start out with that aim - they arose as a reaction to Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories.
