Marine Corps Squadron VMF-124 is recruiting

Recently I've had a few guys asking if there is a Corsair squad.  Of course there is.  Join me on vox 124 flying Knights.  We are not limited to the corsair but I fly it as my primary ride.  This is a small squad, we like to fly together and make a difference in the game.  We help who needs help and we push when our backs against the wall.  Usually 2 or more on everynight (EST 8-12).  Talk to me (CHOKER41 or DuHasst).

From one Hog squad leader to another, :salute and good luck. Corsair-focused squads are tough to recruit for.

Of course you're always welcome to go Rook and join up with us.... ;)

Best thing about this squad is there are 3 guys in now and we are all in our 30's.  Also we good (not the best) at all aspects of the game and enjoy it.  We take bases, furball, bomb, and GV.  It is a Marine based squad but we fly lots of different planes but mostly the F4U's.  I myself love the challenge of flying the C205.  I also love a good GV battle and not the spawn camping (but thats fun too sometimes)  We fly together, and die together...but we try to avoid that.  We don't bomb and bail, spy, or generally game the game.  Try to be honest players and treat those who deserve it with respect.  I get alittle upset and make it known at times but for the most part we are here to have fun.  We are willing to teach what we know and how we do it.

It's really good to hear from you other Hog pilots.  Thanks for your support fellas  :salute

I would like to welcome our newest member, Shadow33.  Looking forward to flying and teaching what we as a squad have learned from this game.

Choker signed us up for the TG 58 thing.  Sounds like fun...nothing cooler than a bunch of F4U crashing (not literally) the party. 

Ps.  Still looking for one maybe 2 more people.  We'll add people as they are trained...get 2 big to fast and you end up a mega squad of dweebs!

As of last night VMF-124 has combined with VMF-244.  We are keeping our squads seperate and we retaining our own COs.  It's more of a CO-OP thing and a way to bring F4U fliers together.  We will share a common vox channel of 198 but will keep a tabs on 124 for the time being.  We are also going to try to make a run at FSO and I am looking forward to getting back into FSO again.  So if your a F4U nut come join us...either squad.  We are now (MAG31) VMF-124 Whistling Death...MAG=Marine Air Group.

If your one of the F4U squads that have replied your welcome to jump over and fly with us.

As before there is a trial time before your asked to join.
