I can say that no, it doesnt.  My uncle served in Thailand during the Vietnam War, back in the early 80's we found his stash of weed he had brought back with him about 15 years earlier.....  Nothin..... Just nothin....

Actually, if you keep it hydrated and in the fridge or freezer, it won't go "bad" for a while...

The freezer trick is where I learned the best way to keep my cigars at work. They're good for weeks out of a humidor if you keep them tightly wrapped in the freezer, and half-smoked ones don't go stale either if you have to snip them.

And I owe it all to my pothead friends.

You can keep it from going "bad" as such but it doesn't get better over time.

It is a joke.  Any plant will not get better as it get older.  Unless you are a tree like cedar, oak, walnut ect that used for wood.

Scary thing is, they could have found a twinkie with the stash and it would be exactly like one you pull out of a package today   Those things NEVER go bad.
