Greetings Ladies and Gents,
The PARROTS are officially recruiting!!!
The PARROTS, an international squad with its root in Germany, are looking for a few players who are interested in joining one of the premier squads in Aces High. We have been flying together in the virtual skies for over 7 years, (some of us even longer). Many battles were fought, in many we claimed victory!
We are a mixed Euro and US based squad that is interested primarily in the fun and team aspects of Aces High. Our main goal is to find members that will carry themselves with honor, poise, and professionalism at all times. A PARROT should always represent themselves and the squadron in a positive light. While good scores are a plus, we are most interested in people who are interested in having fun with the game and are focused on teamwork. A PARROT should not always concerned with individual rank or score, but more concerned about being available to help a squadmate when they are in trouble. We offer training to all of our members, both group and one on one, for fighters, bombers, dive bombers and wing tactics and are really focused on the development of our members and our squad.
A PARROT should always strive for individual and group improvement.
At this time, we have a EU timezone squad night on Tuesdays, but as we increase out US timezone membership, we will expand the squad night to maybe be started by the guys in the EU and finished up by the guys in the US, or create another squad night more favorable to the people in the US timezones.
The PARROTS believe in democracy, so you will always have a say in shaping the future of the squad.
The PARROTS have 5 simple rules which must be followed at all times:
1. To become a PARROT you have to be 21 years or older. Everybody will provide maximum assistance to the best of his abilities. This will mainly apply towards newbies. A PARROT will never assault any player, not another PARROT nor a stranger in public. Differences of opinion should be dealt with in private (i.e. by e-mail) never in public. If a member of the PARROTS is repeatedly attracting attention by means of inappropriate postings of insulting content, expulsion from the squadron might be a consequence
2. Every PARROT MUST report in via TeamSpeak in order to facilitate communication and coordination of raids in flight. English is the official language for the PARROTS, but perfect English is not a must. We encourage all players (both native and non-native English speakers) from all backgrounds to report in on TeamSpeak at all times.
3. Raid participation is not mandatory, never the less; requests for participation are to be answered at all times.
4. The PARROTS will change sides from time to time, this will be mainly done by consensus and will not be for any exact duration or time frame.
5. Cheating or just the attempt of cheating will result in immediate and irrevocable expulsion of the person accused from the squadron. Enemy pilots rescuing themselves by means of parachute will not be attacked under any circumstances. Members of the PARROTS should refrain from any unfair methods.
Our Forum is the meeting place when we are not online. Here we share our experience, knowledge and many other things that happen in the (real) live.
