Realistic Paratroopers

I don't know if this have been asked before (i don't think so), but i think it would be cool to have paratroopers that had real weapons like the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, M3 Grease Gun, Thompson Sub-Machine gun, BAR, etc.  Also if they did have these weapons it would be cool if they could actually shoot enemy vehicles and no minimal damage.

We need politically correct paratroopers and hot air balloons first. ;)

I think we should make it so they don't walk on top of buildings or trees to get over them and they will have to walk around.

No... This is not CoD 2. I am in the favor of some more realism, though. The paratroopers should be able to USE their handguns.

Ya know... there have been many requests for this.  Once would think it wouldnt be too much coding to add in anouther few graphics for troops.

I thought it would be nice to see British paras from the C47, US marines from the LVT2, Soviet infantry from the M3 and jeep, and German infantry from the 251.  Some amerature coders and modelers could do that work.

Or... at the very least give us something different than a bunch of grounded zombie like pilots.

I know people that bail out and sit in the map room. It'd be nice to see the troops be able to shoot the guy sitting in the maproom.

See now that would actually makes sense Spikes!  And alot of sense at that!  If you think about it, it is silly that 10 trained airborne cant shoot 1 downed pilot with a handgun.

Spikes is sitting in the map room, .45 drawn.  Last line of defense after being completely mobbed by a 40 man stooooka nuke party.  He quietly waits to ambush the unsuspecting troops closing in on him.   Seconds later he's en route to a closed-casket funeral, as he's summarily dropped by several 30-06 rounds pounding him.
