Wednesday Night Mission 1-14-09
« on: January 10, 2009, 06:51:17 PM »
This weeks mission is a little different then the last few mission in that its an Axis raid on an Allied target. As always we roll at 8PM CST.

Axis will roll from A52 in Ki67s (max alt 25K), and Ki61s, or Ki84s (max alt 30K).

Allies will roll from A30 in F4U-1As or F6F-5s (max alt 30K) and defend the strat targets in the "target area". They can not fly north of the "front line" unless the bombers are spotted my eye or radar.

To give the interceptors a chance and to the whines down like we seen in the B26 raid a few weeks ago the Ki67s will run at or under max cruise when they are leveled out. Bear, BearDawg, and I did a run yesterday and at this setting the bombers will be running at 250-290MPH

Don't worry about him fudgums. He and his squad still have their panties in a bunch because the arena is still up without dar porking and milkrunning.

I'll try and get in for this. If I can stay awake long enough. My forced vacation is wearing me out. :D

If you do show up shifty we are going to need someone to lead the blue planes around. If you could do it that would be great.

Good turn out tonight for a PTO setup. We had about 25 people at the start.

Concur, in both sentiments.

I have trouble making these missions because of the time, but it was fun to be a tailgunner for Larry.  I even got credited with a kill, possibly my first in a bomber.

Lamer gamer... ;)

Sorry I missed the PTO mission. I fell asleep early, senior citizen thing I guess.
Thanks for making a PTO Larry, sorry I missed it. My schedule is off kilter right now.
