you have to ignore bigplay, he always speaking crap about others with no understanding of the game. IN mid war complaining about everyone. trys to say guys like me score ho and our bombing % is .500% 1/2 hit per bomb and he thinks this is score ho'ing. i talked to guido lazydog and bigplay 's statements nevver happen exactly what i thought happened. they make up things with no facts.

Oh RS59 your just mad cause I called you a score dweeb, ranting about how your number 1 in MW and can't figure out how that is. The fact is nobody becomes number 1 without trying especially in MW. Here the facts if you want them...... Fighter score 26, 7 kills. Then flies everything in attack mode. I have flown against you and your not a 26 ranked fighter pilot. Play how you want but coming on and stating that you don't understand how you got there is a joke. You self admittedly said you know the guys at HT  so I would imagine that you understand how obtaining #1 works. Then you call me a moron , idiot and a few other names then use your magic HT powers to cause a screen message telling me not to insult other players (YOU). The worst I called you was a fool, oh yeh....... a score dweeb.

I voice my opinion that's all, I never went out of my way to call you out as being the score monkey you are . I just responded to you delusional statement. As soon as your statement showed up on the text buffer I heard a lot of people on channel say that's a load of bull. Hey play how you want it doesn't matter to me but call a spade a spade and stop taking your past school yard memories about how you always got picked last in kick ball  and now have taken some sort of inferiority complex to the game. I would have said nothing about you if it wasn't for your denial on all channel. As far as complaining about other things in relation to the game, I started this post and many have responded in the same way I have. How many players don't care how the game is being played ? Not many. The boards are full of it. Heck there are posts from people that have been playing for years that just have had enough of the style of play that's being done and are leaving the game. Your style is of no help either. I have had you PM me from the other side telling me you were going to drop all the hangers at a certain base so we could take it. Now is that the kind of game play a so called buddy of HT does? Singling me out as a constant complainer is rather personal. There are plenty in here that don't appreciate the game play that's happening as of late. Shuffler and AkAk are very vocal on open channel about what is going on. The last time I checked I lived in America. There still is free speech here isn't there, or do you want to take that away?

I think he was always a Knight for the longest. Was shocked one day to see him as a Rook.

lazy?

ya, him and a few other HG went rook. that caused a lot of strife within the squad. some got mad that some of us didn't come over with them. i was one that didn't, not from loyality to a chess piece, but because i had already been flying for quite some time with another squad. from these guys i got the teamwork that  had in the guns when i first joined them. i got/get help from each and every member of my current squad(satans playmates). they really are a great bunch of guys. i enjoy flying with them. if what they're doing doesn't float my boat, i go do my own thing, and no one yells, berates, or gets mad about it, like happened on occasion in the other squad. that's why i joined these guys. the way they are is why i fly with them. i don't have anythig against anyone in the other squad...it was just my time to move on i think.

And so ends another thrilling episode of "Days of our Mid-War Arena".  Will Guido finally get a decent connection?  Will Rod log in as Voss?  Will Lazy change his name yet again?  Be sure to turn in next week!

First of all Cap were not just flying on the Rooks side, we actually follow around the Playmates. If the playmates are done with the rooks then we go bish. The problem with all the guys leaving is that you and them  were playing with the Playmates exclusively while the rest of the squad was doing their thing. We did base takes in EW to promote fights, not to win the map. You never really got the concept about that and preferred the warm fuzzy feeling of the awards ceremony that the playmates have after every base take and map reset. Lips, Lazy and myself did not want to play with the kind of odds that the knits were putting on other countries. Logging on in the morning and seeing 15 knits taking undefended bases and virtually (because of lopsided countries) taking all fighting tools away from said countries isn't mine nor their cups of tea.

It's fine about people moving on and playing how they want but you knew lips was a no nonsense Co. Some guys left because we moved out of EW and they didn't like MW. Other people left like you left because they like that big squad feel, safe and cozy. It wasn't like our squad had any awesome skills and were dominating everyone. We were just doing what we always did and that was to have fun. I find the squad to be better now . As far as strife goes I again was voicing my opinion as was lazy and Lips about some of your guys  game play. I am glad your happy and so are the remaining Hired Guns. Unfortunately for some of the guys that left their lack of so called cartoon skills have been exposed. I don't know about you cause I don't run into you often but none of our old squaddies have improved an once since leaving. The only thing that I have seen improve is their ranks.

.

read a few posts up dude. i'm not always with them. i fly where i find a fight. i don't need to have anyone near me to fight.
when we're doing base takes, it is to promote fights. you should've been on last night(i logged around 1230 estearn), and heard my squadmates trying to decide where to go to find a fight.
saturday night(my first time on in around a month) i upped at a base, found a hotard, and went somewhere else to fight. found some good ones too. left that area to go support my squaddies, till i saw another base in trouble, then went there to try n defend(and fight).

i don't remember too much strife within the squad when we moved from ew to mw, but it was probably there. it was probably nowhere near the strife caused by switching to rook though.

you said you guys follow the playmates around, but i thought i saw you flying knight this past weekend?

knights being on in the AM takinog bases is the same as the rooks or bish doing that in the little hgours of the night...when everyone else logs off.

i(and i think others) were playing with the playmates more than our own squad, because there was never anything going on. there was(at that tinme anyway) no base attacks(to promote a fight), no nothing. just log on and fly, with the Hg attached to ya. the playmates are very good at provoking a fight.

as for improvement? my gv skills have improved ever so slightly. my air to air skills? probably the same, possibly a bit worse, as i;ve been flying the p38 o deth almost exclusively for the last 2 or 3 tours....and will continue to do so till i can fight anything in the arenas with confidence in her. i never hid behind you guys, and i don't do that with the playmates now. i get into low alt scraps......just had one HELLUVA good fight against snaphook yesterday, when i found him above me. i almost got him too. i've gotten myself into multiple 2 and 3-1's me being the one.......

i always get decent fighter advice from mace, rodent, slpknot, and others in my squad too...something that i hadn't gotten from any of the HG in over a year.

 anyway....<<S>>

You need to read your own post. The reason we left the knits was their numbers and style of play, sure the rooks and bish take bases but having flown with them they don't have 7 sets of lancs EVER at their disposal, nor do they drop everything at all bases around them. I was on last night and I saw knits taking bases and deadlocked in a few 15 was one.It was fun because the numbers were about even but here's the difference Cap. None of the other countries care that much about the map as to drop every vh that has a spawn into the base they want to keep along with the ords , radar and everything else that's needed to fight. All the other countries just do their own thing. Like sinking cv's when there's nobody even trying to take the base and ruining a good cv battle is a text book knit move. I think more than not people just get tired of this style of play, especially when their out numbered. It's the same old same old day after day. Of course when they don't have the numbers then the knit side is very quite. Always waiting for a base to flash so they can spring into action. Isn't this game about fighting?
Or is it about taking the map? We also flew on the Knit side briefly because a huge squad from lw came over and were attacking them only. We had no fights on our side. If I were like the knits I would have taken the opportunity to hit the knits while they were down, but that would have been rather boring for me.

Everyone has encountered the warping player but it is the rarity.

Not if you flying around Guido ... I feel sorry for the poor guy, but on the other hand, I have found myself exasperated when encountering him and am unable to get a bead on him while he trashes a field.

What most don't understand is that, yes he sees us warping too so it's hard for him to fight ... but ground objects DON'T move so if he is warping, he can still do damage to ground objects easily and most of the time, without consequence.

If I am in the MW and see someone warping around like a dragonfly, I know it's him, and I just go somewhere else.

actually, they do....all countries fight the same. there's been other threads concerning that.

i think our squad was spread all over the place last night. i spent most of my time at V64 defending. there were some fun fights there once the rook dudes came down. as for 7 sets of lancs? i saw at one point, 3 sets of lancs, one set of b26's, one set of ju88's, and a ju87, all at once attacking 64. that was a pretty big drive. i had several p38's, and a couple mossies fly right by me(i was alone, and a tad lower than them) to go bomb the base(i think NB made a thread about that bit o fun).

i didn't hear, or see anything about closing down all the bases.....but i thought i saw you as a knight last night? maybe you saw something i didn't?

BTW.......you're singlehandedly keeping the HG in top 50.......good job dude<<S>>(and i mean that seriously)

when we're doing base takes, it is to promote fights.

:rofl ... flying in 3 or 4 sets of lancs and leveling anything and everything at a base whether it be a V base or an airfield is "promoting" a fight ?
