Wow kinda surprised that McNabb and company didn't get another shot at the Super Bowl this year. They were the team I thought of the two playing today that had the best overall team to get it done.

This is hard to say, but      Go Beagles!  :cry

I'm tired of Mcnabb getting railroaded.  Eli, Tony Homo, Delhomme(before 6 To's), and all the other "all-american" QBs get a free pass compared to Mcnabb.  He's gone to the NFC championship 5 outta the last eight years.  I think that equals Montana's record and is better than Aikman's as far as NFC championship appearances.  It's impressive considering how different the league was then, how many weapons those QB's had, and how dominant those teams were overall.  Also in a league with parody where 1-15 teams turn around and go 11-5, it shows stability.

It's fair to say he's choked in many of these games, but most woots in the media jump on him the 1st chance they get.  No doubt they will if they lose this game, and I don't wanna hear it.

All that being said, I hope Pitt./or Balt. spank the NFC rep in the Super Bowl.

Wow, I was surprised the Cards pulled it out.  McNabb shouldn't get railroaded at least.

The moral lesson I learned was that Kurt Warner said that Jesus made this happen.  As a Dolphin fan, I sure hope Bill parcells drafts Tim Tebow after next season.  I don't care if he is a pro style quarterback or not!  All I know is that he is the biggest saint in college football.  Dang, now I wonder if we are all supposed to root for New Orleans or be damned???!!!  :devil

Though McNabb made some good passes in the game, there were some easy crossing routes where he was throwing behind his receivers.  One of the more costly ones was on their final drive where it was 3rd and 10 and he missed a wide open receiver by throwing it behind him.  This could have made a must more manageable 4th and 3 or so.

Well this was the game to see who would be SECOND place in the league.

Also, Philly's D played horrible. Also where was theyre special teams. desean jackson?david akers? They did nothing yesterday.

Congrats to the Cards but sorry. Baltimore, Pittsburgh put on the show yesterday. <--there games are always exciting and way better than anyones else. Pittsburgh will dominate Arizona. To be honest, Baltimore would dominate Arizona as well.

I called the police, yesterday to report a mugging.

Kevin Curtis on that last play (4th down) for the Eagles.

Maybe the officials were trying to make up fpr the play where they called the kick was out of bounds, but it really wasn't? Last time I checked, you weren't allowed to grab receivers by the leg BEFORE the ball gets to them.  Yes, McNabb had 3 tries before that to feed the ball to someone, and failed.

Not to take anything away from the Cards, mind you.

They played very, very, hard.  They played like a team that was hungry and played every down like it was the last.  As much as I hate to admit it, they played like a team that wanted to win.

I got my favorite shirt in the parking lot after the Eagles lost on MOnday night 42-0, in the snow, back in 2005 (at least I got to see them retire Reggie White's Jersey  :aok    )

I guess it's not time to retire my favorite shirt, though   :furious

I don't think the Steelers will blow out the Cards, but I expect the game to be close.  The aerial attack for Arizona is too powerful and even with the Steeler blitzes, I think Warner will check down to his RBs quite a bit, or he'll throw it up to Fitzgerald.  So I think they'll be in the game, but I say the Steelers by 2 scores.

Curt Warner needs a little respect for what he's done. The guy is always written off and never get's much recognition, but you have to admit he is a GREAT QB. The league is full of "look at me" idiot's, but the "ned flanders" of the NFL keeps plugging away and putting up hall of fame like numbers. That was a pretty good game on sunday, but as usual the Eagles found a way to lose yet another NFC Championship game. The key drive that Warner led in the fourth quarter should(but won't) put him among the leagues greatest quarter backs of all time....he reads the blitz so well, and his ability to read the secondary as quick as he does is amazing. I am a 49er fan and I have hated Warner forever, but he has earned my respect over the years and I hope he wins it all this year.....however if they lose, I can't really say I care too much. Should be a good game.

If Kurt Warner wins the super bowl will he be the first QB to win a super bowl with two different teams?

This game is going to go one or two ways.

It's either going to be extremely close, or the Steelers will blow the Cards out of the water.  I'm wanting the Cardinals to win, I think Kurt Warner is a "Cinderella Man" is a sense, goes from stocking shelves to having a successful NFL career.  Not bad.
forecast for tonight is alcohol, low standards and poor decisions

I agree but I am leaning to the Kurt Warner been there and done that too effect.I think hes going to have a good day.The question is will Ben have a better one?
Obviously the Steelers have the better defence so the wild card is will Pits. D score?
