Montgomery Ward Inc., one of the oldest names in American retailing and the originator of catalogue shopping, is shutting its doors after 128 years, the company said yesterday.
Oddly enough, we went on to have a major economic boom after 2000, and other stores opened.
Just like it will this time.
Things change, we move on, that's the way it goes. Of course, we could establish a system of protecting everything, but imagine if we did that with the wagon wheel industry.
