I hear the new Battlestar Galactica series is most excellent.

I have been meaning to around to watching it.

The show is almost over..  The finale is sometime in March..
I've watched it since the mini-series they first aired on NBC.
The actually series didn't start until a year later I believe.
It's a serial, so you'll have to watch it from start to finish
to understand what's going on.  In my opinion, it's excellent
television and well worth having the entire collection that has been
released so far on Blu-Ray or dvd.
There is also a movie they made called Razor and there has been another one that was filmed
that is now post production..  I think the Sci-Fi channel has many episodes you can stream
if you have a decent internet connection.

I think that nickname died. We still call AT's tweeks. They call us wire chasers mostly.

Well...you are not missing much back here...

The super bowl is going to be a real snoozer.  If you can scrape some ingredients together, the refried bean dip and chili will be more exciting than the actual game.  If you need the recipies, let me know.

More and more people are clammoring for a "College Super Bowl"...and some are actually listening.

Plaxico Burris had a "Plaxident" and won't be playing anywhere anytime soon.

Everyone loves the new Clint Eastwood movie--look around, you can probably already get Chinese made knock-off DVD's of it in the market in Kabul.

See if you can get your hands on the Survivor Series--that's always pretty good (and on DVD--not bleeped).

Right now, cute chicks you know personally are working out and getting tans...you will be back for them in 5 months!

Stay safe....and THANK YOU for your service!!

Well if you've already watched Rescue Me, then there is little hope.  Just kidding, check out NCIS, definitely one of my favorite shows there.  Just whatever you do, do not admit to watching any episodes of The O.C.  When I was in Iraq, we had a guy that lived with us that watched it religiously.  We just spent a lot of time at the gym and playing Halo over a 16 port hub that the comm guys "acquired".

I got many of those, and also Star Trek: DS9 and The West Wing from the local national shop on our FOB.  They might be able to get other stuff if you request it.  Never hurts to try...

Thankyou for the suggestions, I'll look for them on friday at the bazaar along with my weekly purchase of diamonds.  :D

I also picked up Silent Hunter III while I was here. The first time I had a system that could handle it. Boy did I waste time in that game. Nothing like patrolling of the coast of England and surface in a storm to find yourself in the middle of a convoy.  :devil
