8.63 is a hard k/d number to get while actually playing the game.
"Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture, torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals."

Yes but that depends on what you fly and how you fly it.  I think I'm somewhere around 24:0 in a 190A-8 so far this camp vs 2:1 if I'm lucky in a Spit XVI.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

What woud you think? Only thing I can say is that you can sit there on a cloud and pick people all day, and have your K/D at 8 any day. Its not about who can pick the best, it's who can fight in the plane at any situation and most of the time, come out on top.

A majority of players couldn't get an 8:1 k/d ratio even if they only flew the Tempest and made sure of only attacking already-engaged bandits. :lol

That's because a good plane makes one stupid. That's my theory anyway  :devil

I asked wetrat to find an old film of him fighting Nath in g10's. I haven't seen it, but it's supposedly one of the great films. There were a few threads on it years ago. Once he does I'll post a link here for you.

The g10 as modeled was essentially the k4 so it should still apply.  :aok

I have the above mentioned film but it won't play unless you have an older version of AH 2.

oh he will pick ya, knife ya,rope ya, what ever it takes  :devil  the other nite he landed 14 kills w/ rearming once. one of those smart pilots that dont comprise them selfs to much, unless you need help then he'll clear ur 6 he'll even load a egg on if needed to drop GV's.

I did 9 in 1 sortie in a K4, without rearming. Only way he is going to beat you is E fight you, and any experinced pilot would know how to counter every E manuver he gives you. Not the type of training Carwash wants.
