I wouldn't be against having it, but its got a very limited scenario potential and would not see much MA use either. I'd rather see a Ki 43 for the SEAC scenarios.

I have but one question, you post this thread but would you fly the darn thing even though everyone uses planes armed with more fire power, greater speed, higher maneuverability and greater defense?

Just a small question...  Think about that.  ;)

I certainly would, your question would apply to many of the planes we have in game, like any plane, the p39d for instance, its not the best in many aspects, but there are circumstances that it can be used, field defence for instance, or just for the hell of it.

I agree its low on the priority list, lets get the Beaufighter first.

Boomerang has the same firepower as the Spitfires Mk V, VIII and IX and Seafire.  Not too bad.

For the same reason not everybody flies Spit 16's and N1K's.
For the same reason I fly the 109E and F when we have the G and K. Same reason I fly the 190A when we have the D. Same reason I fly the Stukas when when we have the 190F. They're fun aircraft to fly, period. And sometimes they even add some challenge where there is none :)

The Aussies manufactured the Beaufighter also.  The MkXXI was manufactured in Australia under license.  It had 4X50 cals along with the 4 Hispanos.

The Beaufighter...for its' record is truly a war winning aircraft.  Its' contribution in many areas was valuable.

And yes.....the Boomerang belongs in AH as well.  Was developed and tested quickly by the Australians.  They considered that there may be a problem

of getting aircraft delieved from GB and the US.  As a matter of fact Great Britain was of little help to Australia in the early war stages.

Great Britain in essence made them stand alone in the PAC.  GB was concerned with GB and not Australia.

Armament similiar to the spitfire, 4 .303s and 2 20mm cannons. I say yes! Why can't the Aussies have their own plane in AHII?

Thats what i said :D
