Do any of you have some pictures of the Finnish landscape?

If you had some showing general flat lands and then lakes that would be great.

It is needed (well not needed but wanted) for a school project.

Here is a website with pictures of Finland on it. (you can also find photos of just about any other topic)
NOTE: all these images are big, so you might have to resize them a bit. :aok

There's a really nice curved highway bridge in one of the nordic countries.. I can't recall the name or which country it's in, but it's really picturesque. Maybe one of the vikings remembers it.

It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

As for pictures of the landscape of Finland I can suggest using Google Earth and look for pictures submitted at various locations.

The bridge Moot refers to is probably the "Great Belt Bridge" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Belt_Bridge between Zealand and Funen in Denmark.

Curved highway bridge? What is the scenery like around it?

Not curved like a corner on a race track. Just your typical suspension bridge look.

Moot should be able to describe it. Anyway, what is the english term for a bridge over water, be it a bay or a fjord or a river....?

Google images "lakes finland"?

http://images.google.fi/images?q=lakes%20finland

or "countryside finland" or "finland aerial photos"?

Other words to use to search finnish pages:

ilmakuva = aerial picture
maaseutu = countryside
suomi = finland

Don't forget the sparkling lakes---thousands of sparking lakes!

Why do you think Finnish immigrants flocked to Minnesota and Northern Michigan?
