is there any way to change the radius of the drone fight path in the environment settings. other than using the lead computing gunsight any other tips on field or naval aa practice.

No.
For shooting field guns, read Zazen's article "Aiming the Ostwind" on the Aces High Training Corps website - field guns are used in the same way.
Also many players in the TA (me included) will be happy to provide a willing target for some field/naval gun practice

no you can not change any of the parameters of the drones circling the field. You can however try out any of a number of off line missions where the AI planes actively try to kill you

Flatiron I Highly recommend the offline missions.
Myself I use Baumer's missions all the time for guns practice, for warmup prior to heading to the wars, or to refresh my memory on where a particular set of guns shoots. You can find them here flatiron.
