I'm not so sure this is a whine it sounds logical infact the F4U-4 with 50's would be fine with me.
The F4U-4 flew a large portion of the last year of the war with Imperial Japan and in large enough numbers to warrant a slot here, for the record when the "CHOG" was put in I started flying it over the D because it doesn't have the bright yellow cowl ring yelling hey I'm pointed this way.
I have found quick kill characteristics with the jug, George and the G10 in the first pass kill catagory some of may or may not agree, this is only my take on the issue.
If the cannons stay or go I realy don't care but the difference is really just a matter of time of death and the ammo spent getting it, some pilots just don't like getting hit with hisapanos because it ends the fight to quickly.
Range as HTC has stated is modeled for all rounds as close to realistic as possible and I'm not gona complain about it one way or the other.
They shoot to far, hit too hard, go around corners or what ever is up to the smart guys to figure out but all balastics are in question in that case.
For those who don't like an aspect of the game send email to HTC, some things will never be perfect, we never have any of the problems with any of the flight models in here that were historical like dependability or the real dynamics that kept pilots from doing the wild warp inducing moves I see in here everyday but we constantly hear about the things that some view as a problem because it impeads the way they fly.
On a closing note the hurricanes in north africa shot down alot of 109's and they were using 303's, hell thats a rifle round so if the colective members lobby, hire lawyers, check chad and try and get this thing overturned I will fly something else and learn to love it, I just try and get on when I can, form up with my squadron and run a mission or two not fix all the worlds problems.
