drdeathx qualifications

I see you have a answer to almost every post. Would you please post you qualifications to us. Like your history, are you a builder. Do you get your info from experience or just doing a search to everyone's questions?

Please enlighten us.

Do things like that matter? Usually people only post when they're pretty sure of what there talking about. Hell I myself am only 17 and still in highschool but I build comps for fun, does that make me qualified?

Sorry if this comes off rude but it just seems odd to ask something like that, I didn't know you had to be a professional builder to know things about comps. :huh

What you're missing here is the number of times DrDeath has been called out in this forum for posting bad/mis-information although I will admit that even he is right on occasion and he's getting a little better.

BTW, I post in almost every thread too.   :uhoh

I agree with AirFlyer and think this is uncalled for. You are free to accept or ignore any of the free advice given here and calling someone out is not a good idea. Im sure there are plenty of people (well two at least) that ignore what I have to say on things especially concerning Vista.  :D
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

This is a double sided coin. If you choose to respond to almost every post and set yourself up as having knowledge in a given area. Then it is certainly not going to hurt you to give people a rough idea of where that knowledge comes from. Assuming you actually have some basis for that knowledge.

On the other hand if your a poser, I can certainly see why someone would be reluctant to do so.

Some people have been hanging out here for years, many of us have learned that we can take their comments for gospel truth, or perhaps with a large grain of salt. Depending on the person and the circumstances, based on time and experience, we can make an informed judgment on if they are likely to be correct or not. Giving the forum a short bio
about your knowledge and experience is only going to improve that.

If you have a wealth of experience and knowledge, giving people who might wish to take your advice seriously some idea of where and how you acquired said knowledge will not hurt you in any way. Assuming you have something to base said advice on. If you don't, then obviously it is going to be counterproductive for you. But then you should be asking yourself why your replying.

I read this forum every day, but often I am slow to respond unless it is something I have personal experience with,
and no one else has provided a better answer.

Take the advice, don't take the advice.  It is always up to the person at hand.  If you want an answer to this, then send him a PM (keeping it polite, of course).  No reason for this type of thing to be presented in this manner.
