My method
Outside of dar ring 1 plane length, open doors and even out and nose on base.
Calibrate 5 seconds (pointing straight down).
Then get into your nose gunner position and rudder turn (adjust) to your target.
As speed reaches maximum, calibrate 10-15 seconds still far enough away from the base to do a 3rd calibration. Then get into your nose gunner position if you cant see your target from your bombsight.
Final adjustment then calibrat 12-15 seconds (or 20 if you have time). Zoom in and drop right onto target. You should be 98% accurate. I take 2000lbs and salvo 1 for hangers.
Remember, calibrate as close to your target as possible to insure accuracy. The farther away you are, the more you risk speed/directional change that will throw off your calibration. This helps me be dead on 99% of the time.
