Relearning AH
« on: January 24, 2009, 12:50:05 PM »
Hey guys,

I downloaded AHII after a 8 year break... I switched to it when AWIII died. Anyhow, just got one question, what happened with "auto-trim"? I am thinking of signing up again, but, find the current trim controls very unrealistic. I am just hoping that somehow I am missing the command to call the auto-trim.

BTW, the peek view of the new ground graphics looks very realistic.

Combat Trim is the auto trim feature. It will automatically trim the aircraft as you fly. You can have it set to be on when you log in by going to "Options/Preferences/Flight and checking the auto combat trim box. Also you want to make sure the stall limiter is NOT checked. If it is checked you will have a much harder time stalling your plane, but you also will NOT be able to push it closer to its limits giving up some performance.
