Hangar interface / loadouts / performance charts
« on: December 17, 2001, 02:47:00 AM »
Please, change it. IMO a single 2D window similar to those of the mission editor will be much better and functional.
Add the posibility to load independently each fuel tank with the desired % of fuel, even the chance to select the % of fuel in each DT.
Add the posibility to select the desired ammo "mixture" for each kind of gun.
Add more kinds of bombs instead only general purpose ones. Also, the buff pilots should be able to select the ammount of bombs of each type they want to load in their bombers.

For convergence, add two 2D graphs, one drawing the trajectory of each gun up to 1000 yards in a top view graph, and the other showing them in a side view graph, also up to 1000 yards.

And, probably the most wanted feature, add a performance button in this 2D "hangar" window. This button will display a window with dynamic performance graphs for speed and climb based on the current loadout and weapons.

Also, it would be very good to be able to change the loadout when refueling/rearming.

I'd like to see the hanger screen automaticaly accept a limited load out, such as when the box comes up and says "Max fuel at this base 75%". You've hit enter to get rid of the text box, that should also confirm acceptance of the load.
