No icons on gvs for any formation of bombers........... :D

I can't even see a dot for a gv once beyond 1000 yds.  Didn't gvs used to have icons out to 1.5?

They'd have to get by with what they can visually identify.

That would work and would be a reasonable compromise except that you couldn't tell which country the aircraft is from. Sure, I can tell a P51 from a Spitfire in visual range but I couldn't read the pilots name tag to see his country affiliation. That P51 could be from any of three countries. GV's should be able to hide from aircraft inside barns, under bridges and in the brush without fear of the icon "x-ray".
