This is all just talk in the wind, there is no point in arguing.

there is no point in arguing.
Arguing can be fun, especially if the dolts you are arguing with couldn't poor piss out of a boot with the instructions written on the heel.

You are correct though.  Being able to change load out on the re-arm pad aint gonna happen.

Changing the fuel loadout or ammo loadout, maybe, but not changing gun sets. The only time this would be worth making the game even more gamey for is when you have to rearm on a totaly trashed airfield with the numbers against you.  It just gets too close to being as arcade as instant repairs. And I would like this one myself, I like flying a plane till it falls apart.
Like Rondar said though, if you want a new plane, just tower out...

What possible reasoning would exist against such an idea?

Perhaps I have flawed thinking on this matter........

Yeager, I'm not necessarily trying to argue with you.  I'll say that changing from a sherman to wirble is probably bad analogy.  My point is... to do some things it is necessary to take ords down if you dont want to get bombed all night whilst in a gv.  I just dont think it would be fair for us to take ords down, and a plane rearming that didnt have bombs before would have them available.  I understand if you had bombs in the first place you can rearm with them again even if ords down at the time at that base you are rearming at.

To cut to the cheese... I am against what you proposed  :D

ps  hope you wrote the directions on the heel before you filled it with piss :)
