My CH Combatstick has been extremely sensitive ever since flying AH. Yesterday morning tooling along North of 5 & 6. I set it in auto (x command) for alittle while. Came off of auto and started flying around and noticed I had to pull the stick almost all the way back in a turn to get start of black out (just alittle stall horn). Fighting later (about 5 min.) on I noticed a great decrease in nose bounce when lining up on a target!
This was incredible! This type of control is what I always wanted! Everything was very steady. When I set the trim tabs the a/c did not drift alot. Extremely enjoyable plus I fought better. Enjoyed my morning session.
Logged on later and it was all gone!! Tried flying in auto for a long time to see if this had an effect. No joy! Once again i have nose bounce and hard to keep steady. So what was it? A fluke? I calibrated both times.
This may help. Whenever I boot up my machine I get a readout on what my CH gamecard III is set to. It is in AUTO and each time the value is different. Sometimes 6, sometimes 14, sometimes 8.
Would it behoove me to write down the AUTO setting and fly to determine what kind of performance I get? Once I find a good setting, manually set it there?
Please help, I actually enjoyed flying when I could control the aircraft. AH! I enjoy flying anyways, but living on the edge of a stall horn, with 1/4 JS deflection, is not good for longevity. Thanks!
P.S. I get in range numbers (80-120) with my JS in the JCENTRER calibration program.
