My behaviour in DA
« on: February 03, 2009, 04:23:51 PM »
I would like to apologize to anyone i may have offended in the DA,but at the time i'm very frustated by the way some ppl act in there.
Im 45, husband and father, i have a work (that takes most of my time), and some other hobbies, one of them is Aces High.
I have been playing on and off for 5/6 years, had lots of fun, met some good ppl, learned (well i tryed ) to fly and fight.
I never cared about score, rank or how many kills i landed, what i care about is to have fun and learn to be a better pilot, when im with my squaddies it means make some good missions, work together have some good fights. When im alone in DA i look for a good fight, meaning i DONT pick or gangbang anyone.
I know i could always ask for a duel, and flying into Furball Arena is my fault.
Well, today(again),i called ppl LOOSERS, didnt say/type any name, but im sure they knew who they were. I just got frustated to be picked time after time by the same ppl, while in a good fight with someone else. I also offered a 1vs1 to those ppl, none accepted, guess they prefer the picking.
I know that posts similar to my have been already "discussed", im just "venting out", i have been called  big mouth, whiner, dweeb, noob and else, maybe im, i dont know....i know i dont care to land 2 kills,or that i have 100 kills in my "book".
I'll try to cool down and dont let it get to me so much, i want to thanks and Salute the ppl with whom i had some good fights, and learned some new things ( never tought 109 could be that much fun).
Again im sorry if i have offended anyone.

When folks feel the need to land kills in the DA, they let everyone know:  "I'm not as good as I think I am."

Stay out of the DA. For the most part that is all that is in there...losers. Sure some good people wander in to warm up, or are there to really duel, but for the most part it's just the losers.

Stay in the MAs. You'll learn more, and meet better people, and may have a lot of fun.

I won't even bother with this...:P

IENA, don't bother worrying over it. There's guys worse than you. I've known you for a long time now and you're not normally the one to crap talk, and once isn't going to ruin everything.

A Climb out of the DA

B Use the TA for ACM and plane practice.

C take that knowledge and experience into the MA and learn to put it to work.
(Mid war is a great place to learn the skills to survive in Late war)
You'll still find tards & oscarhole$ but they won't be clustered quite so thick.

D Rather than say things you'll be sorry for later, learn to Alt + F4 and walk away.
Its hard, but it beats having to do damage repair constantly.

The training arena is a grand place to practice. There are no egos there because nobody actually gets shot down, no score, no problem. And everyone there is there for the same reason. I dont go in as much now but still do occasionally to learn a new plane. The TA is the best part of this game.

Best of all there are no rants on vox. No whining. No punk talking on comms. No PMs calling you a skilless stick stirrer. No problems.

Its not unusual for the stress of life to manifest during our favorite cartoon airplane game. Its just unusual for somebody to have the guts to apologize for it.  :salute

Remove score from the DA. It defeats the point of the arena and encourages all of the crapness we all complain about in the MA

No need to apologize, in my opinion.

The DA is, by and large these days, populated by nitwits.
