I'm not a very religious man but I will and have prayed for you.  :pray
I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Plus to not be allowed to do something that everyone one here loves or would love to do is just another kick in the teeth.

Get well soon and hopefully you will be returned to full flight status soon  :salute

Very good  :aok   I enjoyed reading your post as it shows you are ready to handle anything that comes your way. Your mentally prepared and have all the support you really need at home. Stay confident and strong throughout. Do your best to weather through this bump in the road as your inner strength will help you pull through this quickly.

Best wishes to you and yours and a big salute to the Mrs.

Here's hoping things go well for you.
Will you be able to get your medical back once your treatment is completed and you're given the all clear?

Issue, you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I kind of knw what you are going thru with respect to the getting grounded thing.  Way back in 02' I was on a mission in Afghanistan one night and went to help one of our PJ's up the rope ladder while still trying to man my mini-gun.  Any ways I twisted while pulling him in an messed up a few discs in my back.  fast fwd 3 years later...flying with my back killin me the whole time I go to the Flt Doc and she gives me some meds.  One of the rare but serious side effects was a seizure...guess what I had...a seizure.  Off to Brooks AFB I go for days of tests.  When I see the head neurologist in the USAF he not so gently tells me my flyin days are over (at least in the ol' USAF).  I didn't pay attention to very much more of the conversation, seeing how my world had just been turned upside down.  I stil haven't totally come to grips with not flying but I am working on it.

My best advice would be to find something to focus on other than not flying.

This is not old....(5 year old bumped threads are old, however, there are some still are UP, go figure)...THIS thread is for a brother who we hope is doing well, even though he had a temporary setback.

How about an update, bro?

More prayers are OTW.

We are all sure thinkin' about ya!
