But I've been flying First Eagles for the last 2 weeks.
Lengro, you set all difficulty levels to High and it won't seem arcadish.
Visually stunning, I had sweaty palms for the first time in years last week.
No one has a view system to match what HT built for AH of course.
Accept that AH has the best view system in the world, and nothing else is ever going to come close.
(Same for stick mapping btw)
On easy mode, sure, you can go kill bad guys all day long.
On all hard mode it somewhat depends on what you fly.
Spad is very good, Fokker is fair, fokker has slight turn advantage, spad has slight speed advantage.
SE5 has awesome control responce over all.
Can't seem to get it to see a 8 way hat as a 8 way hat.
It only wants to work with the 4 primarys, forward, back, left and right.
And you can't combine views like AH.
The Campaign, if you play it on normal or hard skill levels, is hard enough to keep most happy.
I actually went back to normal campaign settings. After trying and failing 5 in a row, all through the worst pea soup fog you can imagine, I decided it would be a bit more enjoyable if it wasn't quite so hard.
There are also several sites that have add on aircraft, better terrain tiles, winter sky add-ons, etc.
Hope soon to be able to do a Multiplayer test, and see how that goes.
