Skuzzy,

How will this effect the graphic cards on our computer?

Might be an option in gfx preferences, don't panic yet.
The video doesn't work with WMP but does with VLC, on my end.

Would be very cool if we also got some spray for planes low enough over the water :)  A formation right on the water would look great then..

Very nice looking. :aok

Also, just looking at this, it appears to not have too much of a hit on hardware.

The large AVI is 'uncompressed RGB'.  It should play on anything as there is no real codec.  I removed the WMV as the quality was just too poor.  The MPEG is plain ole MPEG-2.

The only problem there might be is if the data file is being treated as ASCII, that could cause some problems.
Interesting.
The MPEG works, but when I try to open the AVI with WMP it says 'error downloading codec'.

However... I think I've seen enough with the MPEG. Beautiful work, HTC.

Out of curiosity, were the clouds changed at all?

Now that I see we have flowing water, does that mean it now has depth to it?  ex., planes now sink, pt boat sinks if to many holes (hehehe) etc..  Possible future for subs?

Looks like you used a similar engine as the Half-life 2 development team.  Water looks and acts like it did in that game.

The best way to view the AVI file is to save the video to your computer, right click it and select "Play" or "Play with Media Player".

As there is no real codec involved, I think trying to stream it is causing the problem.

MORAY37, the only engine we use is what is developed in house.

oakranger, I have no idea, but I would not panic either.

I'm surprised people here aren't using VLC.
Plays it just fine, should be your standard video player for anything. Don't need to download any codec packs with VLC.

I did not have anything to do with it.  I just make things appear on the WEB page.  The real work is all done by everyone else here.
