You can't simply convert it, as a .ahf "film" is not a real movie file.
You have to actual film the action on your screen first with a seperate program like FRAPS.

There's the Film & Screenshots Forum for that topic, and this is a guide on how to make films with the free version of FRAPS and the Winows Movie Maker.

There is also an option in the Film Viewer to convert the film to an AVI. Some have stated that it doesn't always work so well ... YMMV.

Yes AH2 film viewer can be a real pain to convert over to avi. The good thing about fraps is the film is already converted for you by the time it get to AH2 film viewer. Then it's just a matter of setting up your camera positions and sending the clips to your movie maker software to add your sounds, effects and such.

Fraps has the free verision but only allows you 60 seconds at a time I think. For 20 bucks (I think) you can get unlimited record time.I'd also suggest to buy a good movie making software like Sony Vegas. Windows movie maker is pretty crappy. :salute

Thanks For all the Quick Responses, This helps a lot, Thank you  :salute

But there is one thing that's troubling me about FRAPS.
Every 30 Seconds The Recording Numbers (Where The numbers Go yellow To red) Go to 1 and then Recording stops, and get Say for Example; I Recorded a 41 Second Dogfight It only went to 30/41 Seconds in and the Film Recording wasn't Fully Done. Any help on this?

Not exactly true.  in the AH film viewer you can select a file and save it as an AVI.  This will allow you to view it as is in several film viewers.
