Man, is there anything these guys wont slap their names on and sell?

Gene Simmons has always reminded me of Krusty the Clown from "The Simpsons", the way he just puts his name on any piece of crap to sell, they even have similar hair.

I was thinking the same.

I'm with Dred on this one...
One of the best Shows in the Rock world... That music
just takes me back to those days... Still love it!!!
Like the movies, Dazed and confused, or Apollo13,
Or Detroit Rock City.. Man, ya just had to BE there!!!
Bought the box set, just couldn't be without it... Still
have some of the original LPs.. AliveI and II, Dressed to kill,
etc... Well worn, but still playable, LOL!!!

Its a nostalgia thing for some of us.. Last summer I loaded
up my race bikes, and went to the Vintage Motocross
National Races at Washougal WA... Had an ABSOLUTE BLAST!!!
People from all over the US and Canada were there.. Racin
the SWEET classic Machines, on the genuine historic track..
The golden age of MX, and the golden age of Hard Rock
just happened to coincide... Serendipity!!!
Of all the tunes BLASTIN in the pits, KISS was well represented..

Kinda like Apollo11 landing on the moon, ya had to SEE it LIVE!!!
Ya just had to live those times, or ya can't understand...
While they weren't the most technically "skilled" musicians..
Their tunes held the SPIRIT of those times, no doubt!!!

Many of you guys, weren't even BORN yet, LOL!!!!

 :rock :rock :rock
 :salute to all ORIGINAL headbangers!!!
RC

PS. DISCO STILL SUCKS!!!

Gene is at it again, that guy is the ultimate entrepreneur, love him or hate him he is driven and quite shameless when it comes to expanding the KISS empire.   I loved KISS as a youngster, Ace Frehley in particular was my hero and the reason I took up the Guitar.  The original band broke up before I got the chance to see them, it was always a life long dream to see the original band in makeup.  I finally got that chance back in 2000 (or so) when they got back together and toured again.  It was a great time that I will never forget.  I wouldn't see them now though, KISS is only KISS with Peter and Ace IMO.

Like I said, he's basically the Krusty the Clown of the real world.
