I said people who bring up stuff like this (which has been explained by HTC MANY times) get a one week ban because instaed of taking thirty seconds to search and find why the caps are the way they are you think its a good idea to just start another one and cry that you didn't get your way. All I can say is you're an idiot if you think your post is a legitimate complant. For the fanboy comment again, idiotic, anyone who knows me knows I'm not a HTC fanboy.

What's going on in orange arena that they don't want us to see? Everyday at the same time, only 100 people are allowed in. The whole thing smells of conspiracy if you ask me. :noid

whats the matter with you two (Banshee7 and Spikes) can't you read??? the guy said ban folks for posting which caused my reply.  BTW congrats you just pumped your 1000's by one more but never mind I am done talking to you people anyhow because like all legitimate complaints on this board it gets stompted by the Fanboiz extraordinaire and THATS what post count has to do with ANYTHING.

HTC can spend thousands on advertisments, it won't be long till you bullies run em off  :rofl
We aren't the one whining, you are whining about arena caps.

I don't really care how or why the population caps work..What I do know is it sucks not being able to find a fight because there are only 80 people in Blue and Orange is locked.

Is there a reason why the system cannot be tweaked to ignore population caps below a certain number of total players?  If so please explain..

Wrong again ROX. If the other arena was open that wouldn't have solved a damn thing. You would have been in the other arena while LWblue's number would have been the same. It would have just solved your "problem" by letting you run to another arena because you didn't feel the battle war fair.

If the game had given me a choice of being in another LW arena of my choice (Orange was capped 154/100) --I would have at least had a choice.

Arena caps neuter that LW choice.

The game, however, has decided we get no choice.

That is exactly my point.

As it was, by proof of SS, the only LW arena that I was allowed to enter.  The numbers, by evidence shown, were grossly imbalanced.

If you were there, and had screen shots to show different, please post them.

If not, your hypothesis, and point, are likewise worthless.

Switching sides prevents imbalances.  I don't see what the caps have to do with people switching sides or not, that is a personal choice.

Then, the bish and rooks would have seen the imbalance and switched to the side with the lowest numbers, wouldn't they?

Seems your theory has no basis in actual gameplay.

Heheh notice how its the 1k plus posters who have all the answers and whine the loudest about something being posted that they are forced to read once again :rofl

The cap routine being on during the day when numbers are low is just silly period and I am SURE HTC could turn it off if they so desired (which was the point of my complaint).  Idiots like some in here try to spin the arguement off into some "oh he's a dweeb" area to deflect an legitimate compliant.

To add insult to injury I usually get closed out of a populous arena after getting the "lost connection to host" message and upon return cannot reenter.

What popular game is it you own online. I'd like to check it out since you have the population control all figured out. I imagine HT and gang would be interested too.

So, you are on the "imbalanced" side, obviously.  How will the balance become corrected if you leave or don't want to be there.  Doesn't that make you part of the balance problem?

According to your screen shot, there are 96 people in the arena you can get into, 154 in the one you can't.  What if the "balance" is the same in there?  Do 50 more people really make that big a difference?

I really don't see where the CAP becomes an issue in any way.

As for the OP, what would you do if the cap was raised to 200 and you couldn't get in then either?

That's a no brainer.  Make thread whine #43,234 about the population cap.

I can't stop idiots from being loyal to some chess piece.  If they wanted to solve the imbalance they could, obviously they did not.

It already is. As I type this the caps are locked at 400 for both arenas. There is 130 in ORG, and 35 in BLUE, my guess is blue is full of milkers  About noon eastern/central time the cap system will switch over to the dynamic system that is used most of the day. The system will see the population and adjust the caps automatically. If the number stay the same both will cap at 100. You won't be able to get into ORG untill the population gets close to 120 in blue because ORG is over populated as compared to blue. Once they get close, the caps will raise EVENLY so the population in both arenas increase EVENLY.

There has to be a starting point today its 100 and people complain, tomorrow if it was 200, there would still be people complaining. It just like getting a ditch with one wheel off the runway, there has to be a boarder point. Is it perfect? NO, is it the best anyone can come up with that keeps it as fair as possible YES.

A couple years ago, when there was only one late war arena, and the Knights were out numbered..... What where your choices then? If you wanted to play, you sucked it up and played, if not, you logged. Seems pretty simple.

I enjoy the smell of irony.   Imagine someone criticizing other people about "literacy", when they cannot even display proper punctuation and grammar themselves.

Just what exactly is "stompted"?
