Question for staff
« on: February 13, 2009, 12:02:47 PM »
While AHII had been focused on the WWII era.  I seen posts that would suggest the expansion into Korea and WWI.

That being said, is there a larger picture of Aces High that would include Vietnam, Gulf I era planes?  Is this just too much to handle or will it be gradual?

Not staff, sorry, but I highly doubt they will build that.

Korean conflict, especially early in it you have a lot of basically WWII  era planes, and a few early jets.
Everything is still guns only. Later you get into guided missile combat and I don't know that they will ever bother to try to build that. Locking someone up beyond visual range just is not the same as an in your face, nose to nose guns only battle.

The more modern you get the worse it gets.

Granted, I'd love to be able to fly an F14, f15 with Aces High View system.
Every other sim I've ever flown, has suffered in comparison with AH for views alone, if nothing else.

I guess if were were to see something like this, and I admit curiosity, it would not happen for years.
