CH fighter stick configuration
« on: February 14, 2009, 12:51:18 PM »
Not sure if this is the right place for the question, but can I get some examples of how you CH guys have your hat switches and buttons programed? I've been playing so long with a X52 that I'm drawing a complete blank as to how I want to set this thing up. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.  :salute

I had the same probs Uptown.

it is hard to get used to a new set up. even after you get it how you think you will like it you will make a million changes.

I can send you my setup which I in turn received from someone else. I have tweaked a few items for my preferences.

That'd be great Shuffler. I was going to use my X52 throttle but went ahead and hooked up the CH throttle and try to get it programmed to my liking as well.  :salute

the buttons across the bottom are where I have my old stick set up for additional buttons. No CH throttle at this point.

Pretty much the same here (as Murdr) but my throttle is completely different. I dont care anything about text buffers for instance and I moved radio and wep commands to the front buttons and I use the kb for engine commands. Pretty much my throttle hand takes over when my joystick hand is doing engine commans on the throttle quadrant (which you dont use).

If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

Had to look for it, but yeah, LOL Rolex.  Sorry I couldn't help ya yesterday Uptown, but I figured you would come here for answers.  Did you get it all set up yet?

I was going to say yesterday that you should learn to fly before you get a CH setup, but I held my tongue cuz you sounded a bit frustrated. :devil

:rofl Frustration ain't the half of it. A squadie sent me his setup file and all at once I'm trying to learn to fly without tracers, different views, calibration, no combat trim...everything. It's like completely starting over again. I was half tempted to hook the Saitek back up again  On top of all that, I'm fumbling around trying to remember which buttons do what. I go to hit flaps and the clipboard pops up or landing gear pops out!  :rofl :furious :lol
