You know, it's unfortunate in this community that the "bad" experiences get mentioned a lot more often than the good experiences..
Maybe that's how it really is, though....? If that's true, then experiences like the one I had last evening with Sunbatt in the DA
are one's that I choose to remember pertaining to this game (sorry, flight sim).
I logged on last night and the 1st two fights I had were really bad.. Well, they started out as good 1v1 away from the rest of the horde,
but eventually that guy in his trainer16 just HAS to get involved even if his country-mate in the 109 doesn't need the help..
Anyhow, so I'm really in the mood for a fight.... Not this having to look over my shoulder bit.. I know looking over your shoulder is
essential for good SA and normally I do all that is required to watch my tail.. However, last night I just wasn't in the mood for that and really just
wanted a fight.. So, out of nowhere, Sunbatt comes on 200 and wants to DA.. I take him up on his offer.. To the DA we go..
I've seen him on the BBS, I've seen him in the virtual skies.. Just never really talked to him or fought him even..
From the get go, this dude was totally cool.. We dueled several different planes for about an hour or so.. They were just the kind
of fights like you'd want them to be.. Start off 5k and work your way down until it's a stall turning fight.. It was like every merge was
just an inch closer to what each of us wanted to finally get at (a guns solution)... The rules were anything goes after the 1st merge..
But even then, all except for one ho which we both did simultaneously, there were no hoes because I guess we both wanted the same thing..
A good fight without any of the concerns except getting on the other guys tail.. A gentleman's duel to the letter.... All the while, he accomodated
my not having vox(for the moment)..
to you Sunbatt.. You are a class act, sir!
