July 17th is a friday, i plan to be down in dayton around 2-3 pm, i will be bringing a small grill and i know that jaxxo is planning to bring a grill, i am happy to share if yall that plan to come down on friday night would like to bring something to cook on the grill.

once again, i cant wait to meet the new ppl that plan to attend and can't wait to see my friends that i have already met. this event has gotten hella big since SGY started it at her house like 4 years ago. it has doubled in size every year and i cant wait to see all of us together! get ur camera's ready and i'll see yall in dayton!

because i am laid off of work, and dayton usually cost me quite a bit of money, i am going to shut my cable, internet off for a month so that i will have enough money to attend. so if i am off the game or not on the BBS, yall know what is going on, i will still be lurking in the darkness...and dont worry, i might leave for lil while but i always come back hehe.

Ok, here's the deal.

I just got off the phone with the Hotel, there has only been 2  reservations made under the Aces High group name. Out of a block of 40 rooms, thats not good lol.

Long story short, I informed them that the email with the link in it for us to register, was never sent. I have the Sales Manager calling me back tomorrow, to make sure that those that haven't made their reservations yet, can still do so at the $81.00/night rate, and to make see if those who have made reservations already, without mentioning the Aces High group name, can mention it at the desk and get their rate reduced to the $81.00/night. I will post what I find out as soon as possible.

If you're going to make reservations, do so by phone, and make sure you mention the group name, rooms right now are going $95.00/night, and will only go higher the closer the air show gets.

I know its only a $14.00/night difference, but trust me, that extra $28.00 will come in handy in the bar

That's odd.  When we called several weeks ago they told us there was only a few rooms left.  We had to settle for Full size beds instead of the requested king 

I find this odd.  And I think we were one of the 2 that said Aces High group because I witnessed my grandmotehr say it
