Its the same story you have to know what you are doing to use it. I run into an awful lot of Ns that like to dive to the attack and then they have nothing. I see them in the wrong places too bombing tanks but I like that!

Blitzin, we should duel the N vs the D11 sometime.  I bet you'd be surprised.  Once the N has a fuel load equivalent to the D-11's it can do a lot more than its predecessors.  It's like sticking with the 109F-4 over the G-14.

I'm fully aware of the N's capabilities once below 50% internal G. I just prefer the Delta Models, mainly the D11/D25 since they represent the ETO in the MA. D40/N jug are the PTO birds and i would love to add the M to the roster to fill the ETO setup of P47s.

Once below 50% internal in the N, it's a new monster. Just 5mins of glory tend to not last long and that's when i prefer the D11/D25's maneuverability over the N's. Stats are one thing but when ya flew em exclusively you can tell which ones do well in a bad situation & i favor the early models.

I was furballing yesterday afternoon in the D11 and have always preferred the D11 or the D25.  I only use the D40 as a bomb truck and only occasaionally and hadn't flown the N much.

I had an 8 kill sortie in the N last night.  It's fast, handles smoothly, is lethal, manouvers well enough (I outmanouvered a Yak on the deck) and, unfortunately, climbs like a Jug.  I think I like it better than the D11 or D25.  It's just so smooth to fly.  I think I even prefer it to the 51D. 

I won an extended turn fight last night on the deck in the D11 vs a P-38 and I'm not sure the N would have done that but I bet I could find a way to make it work.

Yeah baldeagl, the N outrolls all the other jugs, and at 400mph only the 38L can roll with it.  It handles very well indeed!
