SAPHIRE 3870
« on: February 18, 2009, 11:31:29 PM »
Alright, bought the new card, drivers installed, and im rearing to go! One question though: In my old NVIDIA control panel, I was able to set individual settings based on the program/game run. I could set it so AH has one anti-aliasing setting, Call of Duty had another, etc. Is there any way to do that with this ATI control panel? I havn't found one, and I only get this computer for another 3 hours before I lose it for the weekend (Going to a different house) so I dont want to waste time looking, lol.

I would ditch the catalyst control panel and grab Ray Adams ATI Tray Tools.  That program has all you need without the bloat.

Download ATI Tray Tools and uninstall the ATI Catalyst Control Center.  With ATI Tray Tools, there is no need to have that bloat-ware CCC installed.  You'll also be able to create individual profiles for any game you play.

unfortunately, it doesn't work with vista x64. i dont see it under the supported o/s types too. i'm back to my catalyst for now but will try tinkering as i saved the set-up files for later.
