Thats not how it would have been flown. Looks like it was just being repainted. Maybe the tail was damaged and they replaced it and are now painting it to match the rest of the plane.

Chances are it's a green/green camo that JG54 was so well known for, but the old and inferior quality of film from 1942/43 tends to bleed out or burn in over the years.

They're applying the winter whitewash, and no it would not have flown that way.

We have a similar skin in-game I think, or we used to at one point.
