Cant thank you all enough for the kind thoughts and words for A8WB.

His family was told last night about the flyby (missing man formation) performed in his honor by the Excals for the A8's and they were very touched.

His service in Hollywood will begin at 2:30pm PST - raise a glass at that time and <S>!!!  I am delivering the eulogy and his family wanted me to make sure to include honoring the Aces and Eights - his pals, which of course is a given.

On behalf of his family and friends <S> ------>  the class and honor of people "playing" this "game" astounded me.

Just a thought...  Did anyone get video of the missing man formation flown for WB?  It'd be a good thing to post it as a speperate thread.  Maybe other squads would do the same and post their videos for him.  After that, make it into a tribute video including all of the posted vids.  It'd be a nice thing to do...  Again, just a thought.

Yes we did get film of the fly-by. I believe one of our members is putting together alittle something with it. Wether or not it makes it to this forum is up to him and the squad . I would like to see a tribute thread and I like your idea AAJagerX.

<S> Excalibers, awesome job everyone. It means alot to our squad. I'll be the first to admit it, when you flew over with the peel off plane, it brought tears to my eyes.

Many thanks to everyone! The Memorial Flights, Last Roll Call Ceremony and the endless posts and emails from hundreds of our friends in the AH community.
Special thanks are given to Bwaa of the Excaliburs for keeping the A8s informed of WB's status at all times. WB and Bwaa have been real life friends for 35+ years.
The A8s appreciate the outpouring of condolences, kind words and prayers for A8WB. Warren would have been a little embarrassed by all the attention, but in the same tought, proud to have left such an impression on so many.
Now the time has come to let this thread pass into the archives and continue play. Warren would want it that way.

Salute! A8balls

Been on the road for a few weeks,  just got back,  and decided to see what was going on here in the forums,  and saw this thread.  WB will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers go out to WB's family and to the A8's.   I will miss flying with you or flying air cover for your gv missions!!
