Are these pretty much worthless?

So, I was just looking around and found these...
Has anyone tried them?  Are they junk?

I am not able to find much info on them..  Obviously they are made in China which leaves a bad fishy(as in suspicious) taste in my mouth..  Not sure if these would be worth it..

Rudder pedals should be locked together, and be able to move forward and backwards - these looks like you only can push them down, hence more suitable as gas and brake pedals in driving games.

I use my gas/brake pedals from a Logitech Steering wheel set for Rudder in AH, works great.

CH Pedals (not Pro Pedals, the first sets they came up with) had a similar press-down design. I use these pedals now.

Not the best, I guess, but once you've learned how to use them they are light years ahead of a twisty stick rudder.

As I become more adept(if you can call it that) at this game, I'm noticing little things that can potentially improve my performance.  As I watch my films, I notice that I'm throwing in just the smallest amount of rudder in almost any movement of the stick..  I guess that could be adjusted via scaling/setting the deadband/etc.  I'm just sick of it..  And quite frankly, I'm a cheap son of a motherless goat..  I'm not sure I want to spend $100 on a set of pedals I might use only a handful of times..  I'd rather do the dumb thing and spend $25.00 on these, think they are junk, and then by a real pair such as CH or Saitek..  And THEN realize I don't like them and stuff 'em in the closet...

Get used pedals. TRUST me. Twist sticks are bad for SO many reasons.

These include (as you mention) cross-controlling when you don't want to. They also include ergonomic issues, such as being more comfortable to twist the wrist "outward" rather than "inward," and the way your wrist's pivot point affects other motions on the stick.

Just get some pedals. ANY pedals. Then when you make mistakes, you did it on purpose. It gives you much greater control over what you want to do, rather than just random spikes that you happen to create.

They work great!  Actually I'm still using my old CH Pedals with a gameport to USB adapter.  I had purchased the newer CH pro Pedals a few years back but didn't like the slide action as well as the press action.

Personally, I thought they sucked for flying and great for racing.  However, my brother, who also used to play flight sims, loved them over the Pro Pedals.  Smaller foot print under the deck and once you got used to them there was really no difference in performance.
