More early war armour
« on: February 25, 2009, 02:54:23 AM »
This has probably be asked for before but I would love to see PZKW III with the 50mm gun added (it's just the osti with a turret  :) ), and Matilda II with the 2lber gun (we have no brit tanks except the firefly) and maybe the Japanese tank (I have forgotten the designation) with the 37 MM gun.

I am thinking mainy of senario's we run, I just read the "Desert Fox" snapshot post and it points out how badly we really need some this "period" armour.

It's probably alot to ask but well it is after all the wish list  :D

Most of this stuff would see little action in the MA's of course, cause the Tigers and Fireflys would eat them up  :t

While I was thinking about this I realized that graphicwise the "firefly" could easily be converted to the M4A1 sherman also with the 76mm gun, just shorten the barrel  :aok

Boxboy I agree.  Anything early  to mid war would be great for scenarios.

We don't need additional "Uberstuffen" for the run and gunners in the MA.

You mean the Chi-ha... Would it be possible to get the 57mm Cannon as a load-out option as well or Would it Do less than the 37mm?

I never knew the Early sherman Had a 76mm I thought It had a 75mm cannon... Oh well

Add my Vote To all of them though  :aok

M3 would be good for desert scenarios, too.

If my feeble old memory doesn't fail me there were both 75mm and later a 76mm gun on the shermans, I think the first M4's were 75mm

Sort barrel 75s on the Sherman.  later up gunned to a hi velocity 76 with a different turret.  The M4 with the 75 would be the scenario M4 from the desert to the end.

A Panzer III with a short barrel 50 would be nice.  That too was the main Africa Korps tank.  They got the long barrel 75 Panzer IVs late
