Il2 Engine deaths.

For some reason i like flying the Il2!

I have noticed it is very vulnerable to quick engine deaths in HO situations.

It is the only plane in AH that has a fully armored engine, IIRC the whole front engine area of the plane is covered with 10mm armore, yet its engine dies faster than most figters except P38 and FW190.

Of course this is from my experience only.

Pyro when you do your Engine death review plese look over the Il2 as well.

Ive noticed the same...


m16.. caught me from about 800 out in HO situation.. boom engine gone.. but M16 still lives lol

Yeah, but low speed handling is so good you can usually get 2 or 3 more before you have to ditch it  :)
