T3485 Mirroring Problem
« on: February 28, 2009, 07:32:32 PM »
Salute All,

Anyway, been trying to get another T3485 pushed out.  Bought me a nice little book on em (in Russian but "Engrish" subtitles.)  Found a period pic of 170a, found a profile of 170a, started production of 170a.  All is going great!  Then it happens...

Mirroring of the top of the turrent to the base (rotation) ring of the turrent.  Absolutely no way to bypass it that I can find.  Just wanted to give a heads up to any skinning a T3485..DO NOT..skin one with the upper identity broad band that goes across the top of the turrent.  2 pics attached.  IM heartbroken after the work  :cry  However, I will find another.  I am still trying to get past this and will update if Im successful.

Heya Razor =)

Alrighty, I got the fix!  Well, kinda.  Attaching a pic for you to see.  Only a portion of the turrent top mirrors.  As long as you stay above the line I've marked, you are fine.  Dropping below the line mirrors.  So, My new one will not be "exactly" as the original period pic shows, but will be darn close :)  (read as line will be to the side, rather than split down the middle.)
