I've got alot of video on my computer I've shot, I also have a DVD burner on this computer, what kind of blank discs should I use for burning dvds, there are specific ones made for dvds right?

well i am going out on a limb but i have CD-R's for CD's sooooo maybe DvD-R's for you?
