Advice for Newbies about the Muppets
« on: March 02, 2009, 05:17:17 AM »
The title of this thread is probably getting people ready to break out the lawn chairs and beer. Sorry, but this time it's for a good purpose.

To all newer players,

If the Muppets are playing from your country, move to where they are furballing and follow them around. Watch how they work a furball, and follow them through the fray. Keep upping with them back to the furball so you can watch and follow them into the fight. A picture is worth a thousand words. Eventually when they are in other countries, find the furball they are flying in against your country and "FIGHT" them. These two actions will be some of the best educational ACM experiences you can get in the game after you leave the training arena. If you keep to a minimum with VOX com to them, they will stay in the furball and not leave. They don't like to use VOX much.

Tonight the Muppets were flying Knights LW-Orange furballing 126 to 127. As I was flying with them in the furball it was obvious they are very good at everything they did. They worked well individualy, as pairs, and as a group. Steve gave everyone 6 calls and let players on VOX know what was coming up on them. Unlike the ch200 Muppet bantor, there was only positive communication to any countryman near them. I wish some players would get a clue from them. As your advisary, turn off ch200 if you get misty eye'd over chick flicks....... :cry

On a lighter side tonight, I did fly over a hoard of Muppets chasing ONE red con. Heck, nobody is perfict.  :D

Look up the Pigs on the Wing for a good brawl too........... :devil

Yes, but we all got drunk and burned the set down.  Right now we're looking for a new street to party on...where do you live again?

I would say he can be pretty colorful on range too, not that I mind. He has a very good imagination when it comes to describing the twit that just HO'd him.

muppets are great to fly with, and would be good to follow advice on post #1. makes me feel safe when m00t is around even if were outnumbered 20:1. however, next thing i know he shoots me down(on another map area, fighting another country). i ask him "werent you bish a few minutes back?" (and in fact was in that furball with me)

he replied: "just trimming down the horde."

again, great guy!
