Does HTC even read these wishlists?
« on: March 02, 2009, 11:39:11 AM »
My arguments (though redundant and having been said dozens of times all ready) for at least one fighter and one bomber to be added. Also because there are other arenas that are gaining popularity such as the MW arena.

Axis
Germany

Bf 109G-10 (Over 2600 built) Wasn't this one removed?
HE-111: (Over 7300 built)

Japan

Ki-43 Oscar (over 5900 built)
G4M Betty (over 2400 built)

Italy

G.55 (274 built)
SM.79 (1350 built)

Allied
USA

F2A Buffalo (509 built) also for Finnish use
A-26 Invader (2452 built) nod to Yossarian (wanted to put the TBD in here, but only 120 built)

Great Britain

Bristol Beaufighter (over 5900 built)
Vickers Wellington (over 11,400 built)

USSR

Yak-3 (over 4800 built)
Pe-2 (over 11,400 built)

I know it's been said many many times before, but I would like to point out that there is much more to Aces High than just dusting it up in the MA's. Missions and senarios add so much more to this game and the inclusion of any of the above will simply add to the experience that everyone can enjoy. I for one am looking forward to the next sneak peaks from HTC that should be due in.........2 weeks     :pray

#1 yes they read this.

#2 I'd like all those planes

#3 at the rate it takes to compile information, program flight models, research skins, and build the skins, you can "reasonably" see all these aircraft in about 5 to 6 years (figuring about 2 a year).

.. if were all still here by that time. who knows what will happen, the economy might just blow the world to smithereens.

I asked about the 109G-10 and what I was told is that it was replaced with the G-14 and that " if I understood the email"  when your flying the G-14 it's the same as the G-10, OPPPS SORRY it was more like the K-4

The G10, G14, and K4 were effectively all part of the same sub-family.  Giving us a K4 and G14 is better than having a G10 as we had, IIRC.
The Pe2, Beaufighter, Buffalo, He111, G55, A26, and Yak3 were all explicitely mentionned as having HTC's attention to some degree or other.. Either in the public polls or otherwise.  So yes it's pretty sure they do read the wishlist...

Yes, but giving us the K-4 and G-14 in addition to the G-10 would be even better. ;)  There's no justification for ever removing a plane from the game. (yes, they should give back the other Spit V, too)

Secondly, yes, HTC does read these forums, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that they'll implement my ideas. :pray :D

Maybe that was the only feasible choice at the time.  I'm just plugging alternative explanations here, tho I admit I don't see why it's so important other than following that principle (never substract), to have the G10 when we have the G14 and K4.

Scenarios/FSO's.  The K-4 is a powerful plane at high altitude, while the G-14 isn't much better than the 109G-6 above 20k ft.  The G-10 would be a good in between plane for high altitude work that's not as fast as the K-4.

And it would have an MG151/20 option :D

From what I understand, we never really had a G10- the old 'G10' was modeled as a K4 with the armaments of a G10. Many of the older models are 'mixes' of the actual performance types of two variants.

IIRC, the G-10's best TAS is about 426mph to the K-4's 452mph.

The G-14 can do 408mph, but that's at only 16k ft.  The G-10's best altitude would be at about 22k ft.

If they did, the P38J would be perked.

Was the PE2 the same thing Poland fought the Nazis with in '39?

Never mind found it--the PZL-11--(a high-mounted gull wing) did ok against the 109's of the day --(thing apparently turns like a zeke) about a 1:1 kill ratio (all died, of course)

Poland also had a PZL 39--first laminar-flow wing ever produced

HOPEFULLY with CT being put on hold, they will put much more effort into working on updating models and adding new Gv's A/C's to the game not yet represented.

We got new CV fleet, now we are getting nice water, and a highly rendered ground landscape.

More interesting days coming.
