I was disa pointed with #2 (liquid metal Terminator???) and #3 a bit (a babe Terminator??? and baaaad acting), I hope this "prequel" makes up for it.  Yes, so far it is looks to be well worth it.

Any idea on who did the mucis?  It kinda sounds like something Trent Reznor would write.

What I had heard was the Nolan wanted to do for the Terminator franchise what he did for the Batman franchise.  Given how good Dark Knight was, if he succeeds, it should make for an outstanding movie.

There's no Terminator ANYTHING after T2. Judgment Day DID NOT HAPPEN.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

The first movie was one of those amazing iconic movies that wrenched a Generation. I honestly believe that it was a top 5 Sci-Fi movie, that perfectly... perfectly blended the darker, dirtier elements of sci-fi with the bubblegum pop that ruled since 1977. I thought the second one was meh. I liked the 3rd one well enough because they finally had the balls to start the war. But this movie... This is the movie I wanted them to make from the start. This is what T2 should have been in my opinion.

T2 was a waste?  That's like saying The Empire Strikes back was worse than the Phantom Menace.
