next time your in game look up the roster and put it into country specific list,
go down the list of players and see how many are squadless, how many are numbers guys, how many couldn't hit a barn door if they tried, how many speak english as their first language, how many know how to read the map and change fields?, how many GV only?, how many actually know how to type on country without saying "how do i start my engine", experienced players usually have a squad and they are going about their fun with their squadmates and will go wherever their CO tells them too.
Maybe in view of your idea have a squad vs squad arena with just two teams and have them battle it out over a small map. The problem is your opening the can of worms that is the toolshedder vs furball debate. Both types of gameplay do cross each other and will be impossible to seperate without diminishing the fun of one from the other.
