Add .accept <playername> to voice PM's
« on: March 09, 2009, 11:48:49 AM »
There is nothing worse than being in the middle of a great fight and have someone from the other chess piece connect to you with a voice PM rant.  I have to decide to ditch the fight (and maybe the plane) to squelch them, or be forced to listen to their cries.

It would be nice to have a feature where, like a join request, you would have to allow a player to connect to you direct via channel 5.

Hello SCCA,

I understand your want for this.  How about  just .report'ing these folks that do this and get them booted.  They are of no use to this community.  I have done it a few times now, and I have never received anymore voice rants from them again.  I have to believe that HTC takes this seriously, and does deal with those that are overly belligerent with other players.

Have a great day,

Other than being rude, there was nothing really nasty said, mostly just chest thumping.  I can detune 200, I can squelch offensive players and .report those I see fit.  I just think a .acceptPM for voice message would be pretty cool.

I agree completly. +1.
Plus, if I'm not mistaken, doesn't someone have to be reported x many times before anything does happen? And isn't it all handled by the computer?

I got bounced by Dr death last night and he tuned to my VOX and proceeded to laugh at me for flying a P-40 alone onto an enemy base.

He's got a funny voice.  :lol

So that is the source of all those strange voices I hear when flying.  I thought is was just voices in my head.    :D

I love when they do this, hasn't happened for awhile (usually jokers jokers folks recently).  When they do I pretend I don't speak English except for the curse words that I learned in the states once. :)

I had DrDeath come in a try to HO me on the first merge so I returned the favor on the second.  He then got on vox to call me some choice names and call me a skilless ho'er.  Thought it was funny.

Oh and I agree I think you should have to give permission for someone to put your name in VOX.
