Think this guy had a pretty good observation on the whole conversation

Carl Sagan

Where's Darwins's proof? Or proof of the Big Bang? Or for that matter Carl Sagan's.

Well stated, but, their will be some who, after the rapture, become martyrs, and receive salvation. They will not be predestined, but saved none the less.

True there will be people that survive the tribulation  by not receiving the mark. However as per the Bible they will be beheaded for their faith. There will also be those that escape to Prtra and those in places that live in areas that aren't subject to the persecution.

What about the whole 'God is my co-pilot thing'?  If he's flying right seat then that means you're actually in control of the destiny of both of you, or rather that your free will is influencing the predetermination.  Kind of oxymoronic, but oh well.  I suppose with this metaphor you could say that you're flying on free will, but every once in a while predetermination steps in and makes the plane crash.  Did your co-pilot forget to fill up the fuel tanks?

I kind of like the bumper sticker:  "God was my co-pilot, but we crashed in the woods and I had to eat him."

If the pilot seat is on the right, as it is on several aircraft, and God is on the right, would that be like cruise control?

I believe the term "God is my co-pilot" came from the book written by Flying Tiger pilot Robert Scott. Someone just made it into a bumper sticker.
